We’re installing a proven and reliable 12V DC Solar Home System (SHS) in each of the 73 households in Moeggeploeg. These systems, developed and tested by Specialized Solar Systems, are designed to provide dependable, high-quality energy for basic household needs. Each system costs R3,000 and includes:
- Basic lighting: Two interior lights and one exterior light, all connected with durable wiring and conveniently placed switches.
- USB ports: Built-in ports for safe and efficient device charging.
- Solar panel and lithium battery: High-efficiency solar panels paired with advanced lithium battery technology, ensuring clean and reliable energy for years to come.
