Description

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450V Solar Charge Controller series represents the pinnacle of solar energy management, engineered for demanding on-grid and off-grid systems. Available in 100A and 200A output models, these 48V controllers accept a high 450VDC PV input, delivering robust and reliable battery charging. The innovative design incorporates multiple independent MPPT tracking inputs, allowing you to fine-tune your solar array for peak efficiency regardless of your location or shading conditions.

Safety is paramount with the SmartSolar MPPT RS. Full galvanic isolation between PV and battery connections provides an additional layer of overall system safety, while continuous PV isolation resistance monitoring detects faults that reduce panel isolation to unsafe levels. The wide MPPT operating voltage range of 65-450 VDC, with a 120 VDC PV startup voltage, offers significant flexibility in system design.

Beyond performance, these controllers are remarkably user-friendly. The integrated display provides real-time battery and controller parameters, accessible locally or remotely via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect app. This app also facilitates easy system setup, settings adjustments, and offers a 30-day history of individual MPPT tracker performance. For comprehensive system monitoring, data logging, and remote firmware updates, the VE.Can and VE.Direct ports enable seamless connection to a GX device. VE.Can further supports parallel operation of up to 25 units, synchronizing their charging for large-scale installations. Additional I/O connections include a programmable relay, temperature sensor, auxiliary input, digital input, and voltage sensor, with the remote input compatible with Victron smallBMS and other BMS with an allow-to-charge signal.

Choose the Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450V from Specialized Solar Systems for a high-performance, safe, and easily manageable solar charging solution.
