The off-grid Solar Sentry Trailer, designed by Specialized Solar Systems, delivers a robust and adaptable mobile solar power solution. Built on a durable trailer platform, it supports a wide range of portable energy requirements across industries and applications.
Originally developed for nighttime traffic checkpoints and emergency operations, the Solar Sentry Trailer now provides reliable power for mining sites, security operations, and other remote applications.
Operators can quickly deploy the trailer and tow it across most terrains at speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour. Its 15-inch tyres provide reliable mobility, while the system powers 4 x 100-watt 24-volt DC floodlights to deliver powerful illumination wherever needed.
During daylight hours, the expandable solar panels generate up to 6 kWh of energy. The integrated battery bank safely stores this power inside the trailer and provides up to 15 kWh of backup energy at night, allowing extended periods of high-powered lighting.
The Solar Sentry Trailer also includes AC power outlets for operating additional electrical equipment. Users can recharge the battery system from a 220V AC supply without needing to extend the PV array, adding further flexibility for different operating environments.
