Great sales and service delivery from Lee, Quinton, and Madoda. Lee was exceptional, providing clear and detailed explanations throughout the process. Madoda was superb—very accommodating and responsive. Quinton ensured that the online connection was set up and working perfectly. Overall, excellent service.

Specialized Solar Systems installed a small system for me six years ago. Their service and support has been outstanding over the years.

Dear Jonathan and team, Thank you very much for your relentless support during and after the failure of the six year old 80/56 battery from a well-known supplier. Your team had, over more than six months, endless challenges communicating with and soliciting corrective action from the supplier who in the end suggested an outright dangerous solution to rectify defective battery cells. Thank you for replacing the defective battery with your impressive LV-COMMS stackable battery with superior BMS protection systems, programmed and manufactured here in George. Congratulations on an effective and ethical team. Well done! Thank you so much team. Best regards. Paul

I had some small issues in the last couple of days. SSS responded within 10 minutes and remotely solved 1 problem and for the first problem they gave me a possible cause , and i was able to fix it myself (so no engineer needed to come in). Great support

I had my solar system installed three years ago by Specialized Solar Systems, and I’ve been very satisfied with the performance and support ever since. The setup includes 10 solar panels—4 facing north, 4 west, and 2 east—paired with a Freedom Won 10/8 battery and a Victron system. The system has performed excellently. In hindsight, I could have opted for a larger battery, as there is still surplus solar energy available at sunset. That said, the overall design has proven reliable and efficient. The support and assistance from Specialized Solar Systems have been outstanding, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had Specialized Solar Systems install a hybrid solar and battery backup system, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. They set up a Victron 5kVA x 2 system, paired with 3 x 5400kWh batteries and 2 MPPTs to support two banks of solar panels. The team was professional, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Their pricing for high-quality equipment is unbeatable, and their after-sale service is absolutely fantastic. The system has been running flawlessly for 11 months now. I also opted for the 10-year warranty (instead of 5 years), and the peace of mind it brings is worth every cent. If you’re looking for top-notch solar solutions in the area, look no further—there’s nobody better! Highly recommended!

Another year has gone bye and our installation is 2 years old. SSS Did an excellent job installing what is without doubt superior equipment, Victron. I live in Worcester and opted not to use the locals. Got a better job done by a good team. Follow up and service since is without complaint.

First class service with a lack of in depth explanation. In time I was able to sort it out in my mind. Dealt with Ryan Gill who proved his dedication both to me and your company. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone seeking an installation.

I have been dealing with SSS for several years, organized a Solar system from my design with their specialized advice, bought the components at good prices and installed it. It was so good to have their backing as when I did have problems with their equipment, they were very quick to get it replaced without any fuss. Excellent service.

Christopher Horsley

Specialized Solar Systems installed my home solar system (inverter, battery, solar panels) with the utmost of professionalism and technical competence right from sales to the installation staff. A very happy customer. Thank you. Perhaps an area of improvement could be more effective internal communication between sales and the installation team. Best, Chris Horsley.

Excellent products and exceptional service makes choosing Specialized Solar Systems as our well researched solar service provider four years ago, the best choice that we could have made. Friendly and professional service with our initial installation, an extension to our solar system and all the questions and adjustments over the past years. You guys remain undoubtedly the BEST !!

A great end result from a dedicated, professional and very hard working SSS team that didn't leave until our installation in Oudtshoorn was done way past office hours. These guys won't give up no matter how long it takes! Finally we are less dependent on Eskom and what a wonderful feeling and privilege. Thank you Malherbe, Gerrie, Bobby, Madoda, Quinton and Mr. positive (owners, please mention his name in your reply) Just bear in mind that the current demand is very high so keep your expectations realistic regarding installation time frames.

George Jennings

We were referred to Specialized Solar System by a close business colleague. It has been a breeze dealing with Bobby Hodgson and his team. Our installation was very neatly installed and is all up and running very efficiently. Added to this is SSS are Green Card accredited which adds more peace of mind that we have chosen a well established quality Company. Thank you guys!!

I used the Gauteng supplier, Approved Solar Systems, and I truly appreciate the professionalism showed by the team. They consulted on my needs and answered all of my questions. The turn around was really fast. Most importantly they were warm and friendly to deal with. The positive experience was worth every penny. Thanks for an amazing service...it's a lost art these days.

Ronel Pieterse

Professional, knowledgable, on time. I appreciated the attention to detail and answering my endless questions and requests to quote. With so many solar charlatans out there these days; this is one company you can trust!

I was very satisfied with the professionalism and quality of the service provided by SSS at my home in Welgelegen George, installing a solar system. To put the cherry on top, I was informed by SSS about 2 weeks after the job was finished and paid for, that I have overpaid them by R32000 and that they would refund me! I was not aware of this and they could have kept quiet and I would never have known. This reflects great business ethics and I can really recommend these guys!

Martiens Prinsloo

I've been investigating a solar solution for our house in Randburg for the past 5 years. From all the interaction I had with various companies SSS is by far the most professional. They are the only company that was willing to do a decent study of our power usage before making a recommendation of what is needed. The level of service I received was world class. The CEO was actually interacting with me directly via phone and e-mail and explaining everything in a way I can understand. Thank you for time Jonathan! You and your team really showed what service is all about. The installation is very neat and I can already see a huge reduction in my grid consumption. No need to stress about load shedding anymore.

I like when people know their stuff and are not too wrapped up in their expertise to spend time with those who are not so knowledgeable to explain things. I had a good experience and liked the calm confidence the staff projects.
