10kW Peak, 3 Phase Grid-Tie Solar Energy System
This system was designed specifically for Furntech Kwamashu grid-tie solar requirements in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Specialized Solar Systems (SSS) recently supplied and installed a grid-tie solar energy system for Furntech Kwamashu KZN.
The 10kW peak, 3 phase SMA solar-powered system generates renewable energy using 40 x 250W PV solar panels.
The grid-connected system helps supplement Furntech’s significant electrical energy requirements. It provides renewable power for the Woodworking College’s electrical components and machinery.
The college provides training to individuals from the local Kwamashu community. Students are taught the skills required to create quality wooden furniture.
This installation showcases the benefits of renewable energy in supporting education, skills development, and sustainable operations.
