The 48V 5kVA 15kWh 4950Wp Off-Grid Home Solar System is a complete kit for powering a house entirely off-grid. Think of it as a pre-packaged power plant for your home. This system delivers full energy independence and ensures reliable performance day and night.

Key Components

This system includes four main parts that work together to generate, store, and distribute electricity:

  • Inverter/Charger: The 5kVA Victron Inverter/Charger acts as the brain of the system.
    It converts stored battery power into usable electricity for your appliances.
    In addition, it charges the batteries when a generator provides extra power.
  • Solar Charge Controllers: Victron 250/100 SmartSolar controllers regulate solar input and ensure efficient, safe charging.
  • Batteries: 3 × 5kWh Lithium batteries (15kWh total) deliver long-lasting, maintenance-free storage.
    These batteries also come with a 10-year warranty, providing peace of mind.
  • Solar Panels: 9 × 550W PV panels (2,730Wp total) capture sunlight and convert it into reliable clean energy.

What’s Included

The system comes pre-assembled, pre-programmed, and mounted on a backboard. As a result, it provides a plug-and-play solution. It includes:

  • Victron GX monitoring device with accessories for remote monitoring and support.
  • DC/AC protection boxes and communication cables that ensure safe operation.

What’s Not Included

Payment Process
  1. After completing your order, an email will be sent to you containing your unique order number along with the details of your order. You will also receive our banking information.
  2. To facilitate payment, we only accept Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).
  3. When making your EFT payment, always ensure a reference to your order number business, or surname. This helps ensure the accurate and efficient processing of your payment. Please email PoP to accounts@specializedsolarsystems.co.za
  4. Once your EFT payment is reflected in our account, you will receive a tax invoice via email. This invoice will serve as confirmation of your payment and order details.
  5. Please ensure that your EFT payment is successfully processed and cleared in our bank account before requesting an update to coordinate the collection or status of your order.
