DESCRIPTION

Build-a-Board 02: 10kVA/48V Backboard

The Build-a-Board range from Specialized Solar Systems is designed for accuracy, convenience, and flexibility. This high-capacity foundational backboard includes a 10 kVA low-frequency Victron MultiPlus-II inverter/charger, an AC distribution box, and a single-phase DC connection/protection York box.

For advanced system control, it features a Victron Cerbo GX device with a color touch screen and a long-range WiFi antenna, enabling comprehensive remote management and monitoring. All components are pre-installed on a backboard, ensuring simple and efficient on-site installation.

The core principle of the Build-a-Board system is modularity. It allows users to start with a robust foundational energy system and adapt it to their specific needs. By monitoring loads via the GX device and the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal, users can refine their system size based on actual consumption patterns, removing the guesswork from energy sizing and allowing for seamless future expansion.

LiFePO₄ Battery Options

Select from our high-performance lithium iron phosphate range to suit your storage requirements. Up to four batteries of the same size can be connected in parallel for increased capacity.

Note: Ensure communication cables are correctly installed to the GX device for accurate readings from all connected batteries.

Victron SmartSolar MPPT Options

To enable solar charging, the system can be expanded with various MPPT controllers. Multiple units can be added to support larger solar arrays via CAN-bus or VE.Direct communication with the Cerbo GX.

Orders, Pricing and Collection:
  1. Currently, only one of each product can be added to your shopping cart. 
  2. All prices displayed are exclusive of shipping costs and are based on ex-factory rates in George, Western Cape, South Africa.
  3. The listed prices are subject to potential fluctuations and remain valid for a 24-hour duration.
  4. Once your EFT payment is reflected in our account, customers are welcome to arrange collection at the Specialized Solar Systems factory located in George.
  5. Specialized Solar Systems can arrange courier pricing upon request. Please include the delivery address with your order.
Payment Process
  1. After completing your order, an email will be sent to you containing your unique order number along with the details of your order. You will also receive our banking information.
  2. To facilitate payment, we only accept Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).
  3. When making your EFT payment, always ensure a reference to your order number business, or surname. This helps ensure the accurate and efficient processing of your payment. Please email PoP to accounts@specializedsolarsystems.co.za
  4. Once your EFT payment is reflected in our account, you will receive a tax invoice via email. This invoice will serve as confirmation of your payment and order details.
  5. Please ensure that your EFT payment is successfully processed and cleared in our bank account before requesting an update to coordinate the collection or status of your order.
