DESCRIPTION

Each Storagedock battery is composed of prime A-grade lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells. The LiFePO4 battery is one of the most stable forms of lithium-iron technology available for this specific purpose. While it shares many advantages with other lithium-ion chemistries, it offers a significantly longer cycle life and superior thermal and chemical stability, making these batteries ideal for both home and business use.

The Storagedock LV-Com batteries feature a modular design, allowing you to increase your energy system’s capacity over time. For larger requirements, up to four stacked units can be connected in parallel to achieve a total capacity of up to 393.6 kWh.

Equipped with Specialized Solar Systems’ custom-designed intelligent BMS with CAN-bus, the battery’s health is automatically managed throughout the entire charge and discharge cycle. By maintaining the State of Charge (SOC) within precise manufacturer parameters, the system ensures optimal lifespan, safety, and warranty protection.

The BMS CAN-bus protocol integrates seamlessly with Victron CCGX, Venus GX, and Cerbo GX interfaces, creating a fully optimized Energy Storage System (ESS). This connectivity allows for remote monitoring and management, ensuring peak performance and extended battery life. Additionally, the stackable architecture simplifies transportation and streamlines the installation process.

Important Terminology:

  • Module: An individual 16.4 kWh battery unit.
  • LV-Com: Low Voltage Commercial (Low Voltage Commercial).
  • Stack: A group of modules connected in parallel.

Orders, Pricing and Collection:
  1. Currently, only one of each product can be added to your shopping cart. 
  2. All prices displayed are exclusive of shipping costs and are based on ex-factory rates in George, Western Cape, South Africa.
  3. The listed prices are subject to potential fluctuations and remain valid for a 24-hour duration.
  4. Once your EFT payment is reflected in our account, customers are welcome to arrange collection at the Specialized Solar Systems factory located in George.
  5. Specialized Solar Systems can arrange courier pricing upon request. Please include the delivery address with your order.
Payment Process
  1. After completing your order, an email will be sent to you containing your unique order number along with the details of your order. You will also receive our banking information.
  2. To facilitate payment, we only accept Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).
  3. When making your EFT payment, always ensure a reference to your order number business, or surname. This helps ensure the accurate and efficient processing of your payment. Please email PoP to accounts@specializedsolarsystems.co.za
  4. Once your EFT payment is reflected in our account, you will receive a tax invoice via email. This invoice will serve as confirmation of your payment and order details.
  5. Please ensure that your EFT payment is successfully processed and cleared in our bank account before requesting an update to coordinate the collection or status of your order.
