5kVA 2.97kWp 8kWh storage Still Bay residential hybrid solar system installation

In Still Bay, located in the Western Cape of South Africa, Specialized Solar Systems’ installation team successfully installed a residential hybrid solar system with an 8kWh LiFePO₄ battery. This system includes a 5kVA inverter and a 2.97kWp photovoltaic (PV) panel array. On average, it generates 13 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per day

Designed by Specialized Solar Systems, this residential hybrid solar system consists of:

• 5kVA Victron Multiplus II inverter
• 9 x 330-watt panels (2.920kWp)
• Freedom Won LiFePO4 10/8 battery (lithium iron phosphate battery)
• Victron 150/70 MPPT charge controller
• CCGX color Control solar system onsite and remote management intelligent device

This hybrid solar system is designed to yield an average of 13kWh of power per day from the solar panels throughout the year. The installation took the residential team 2 days to complete the job.
