Specialized Solar Systems’ residential solar installation team completed a 5kVA 3kWp 12kWhrs/day Grid-Interactive Hybrid solar power system installation for a customer in Eastford Ridge Estate, Knysna

The 5kVA Grid-interactive Hybrid  solar powered system installation took 2 days complete and consisted of the following base-components:

  • 1 x 5kVA Victron 48V Quatro grid-interactive inverter (single phase)
  • 1 x Internal data manager unit Victron Colour Control
  • 12 x 280Wp solar panels (Totalling a 3kWp solar array)
  • 1 x Freedom Lite BMS battery monitor and temperature sensor
  • 1 x Freedom lite Home HP 48V 10/7 Lithium-iron Phosphate Battery
  • 1 x 150/70 Victron MPPT

The 5kVA Grid-interactive Hybrid solar system will be delivering an average of 12kW per day with a storage capacity of 7kWh.
