Specialized Solar Systems was recently involved in the supply and installation of a grid-tie solar energy system for Furntech Kwamashu KZN, South Africa.

The powerful 10kW peak, 3 phase SMA solar powered grid-tied energy system produces electrical energy from 40 x 250W PV solar panels.
The grid-tied solar energy system will be put to good use by supplementing Furntech’s large electrical energy requirements to power their Woodworking College’s electrical components and machinery with renewable energy where individuals from the local Kwamashu community are taught the fine art of making wooden furniture.
