Specialized Solar Systems was recently involved in the supply and installation of a grid-tie solar energy system for Furntech Kwamashu KZN, South Africa.

The powerful 10kW peak, 3 phase SMA solar powered grid-tied energy system produces electrical energy from 40 x 250W PV solar panels.

The grid-tied solar energy system will be put to good use by supplementing Furntech’s large electrical energy requirements to power their Woodworking Collegeā€™s electrical components and machinery with renewable energy where individuals from the local Kwamashu community are taught the fine art of making wooden furniture.
